For many women, knowing when and how to safely return to exercise after pregnancy can feel overwhelming. Between conflicting advice online, lack of confidence, and the demands of caring for a new baby, it’s easy to put yourself last.

That’s exactly why we created our 6 Week Mums & Bubs Reformer Pilates Program at Inflow Pilates Studios in Buderim.

Designed specifically for postnatal mums, this small group Pilates program offers a gentle, supportive and structured return to movement after pregnancy.

A Safe Return to Exercise After Pregnancy

Our Mums & Bubs Pilates program focuses on rebuilding strength safely and intentionally, rather than rushing back into intense exercise.

Across the 6 weeks, we guide you through progressive reformer Pilates classes designed to help you:

  • Reconnect with your core and pelvic floor

  • Improve posture and alignment

  • Rebuild full body strength

  • Move with more confidence and control

  • Feel supported throughout your recovery journey

Whether you’re completely new to reformer Pilates or returning after time away from movement, this program is designed to meet you where you are.

Why We Created a Structured 6 Week Program

Previously, we offered casual weekly mums & bubs classes at our Buderim studio. While these classes were loved by the mums attending, we found that a casual format made it difficult for mums to experience real progression and consistency.

Our new 6 week structure allows the same group of mums to move through the program together, creating:

  • More personalised support

  • Progressive strength building week by week

  • Greater confidence in movement

  • Stronger community and connection between mums

Instead of feeling like “just another class”, this becomes a guided experience designed to support your recovery properly.

What Makes Our Mums & Bubs Pilates Different?

At Inflow Pilates Studios, we understand that postpartum recovery is not one-size-fits-all.

Our classes are intentionally kept small, with only 10 mums per intake, allowing our instructors to provide hands-on support and modifications where needed.

We’ve also created an environment that feels calm, welcoming and understanding of the realities of motherhood.

Babies are welcome to attend alongside you, and there is absolutely no pressure if your bub needs your attention during class.

Our Buderim Pilates studio is located at 1–7 Goshawk Blvd, with easy parking and simple access for mums arriving with prams and babies.

  • $300 paid upfront
    or

  • $150 deposit + $150 before the program begins

With only 10 spots available, places are intentionally limited to keep the experience supportive and personalised.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I start exercising after pregnancy?

Our program is suitable for mums who are at least 6 weeks postpartum following a natural birth, or 8–12+ weeks post C-section with medical clearance.

If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, we always recommend checking with your GP, OB or women’s health professional before commencing exercise.

Do I need Pilates experience?

Not at all.

This program is beginner friendly and specifically designed for mums returning to movement after pregnancy. We start with the foundations and progressively build strength and confidence across the 6 weeks.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes — babies are absolutely welcome.

Our Mums & Bubs Pilates classes are designed for little ones who are pre crawling or only just beginning to crawl, helping us maintain a calm and safe studio environment for everyone attending.

What if my baby becomes unsettled during class?

That’s completely okay.

This is a supportive and understanding environment where mums are encouraged to move at their own pace. If your bub needs you during class, you’re welcome to pause, settle them, and rejoin whenever you’re ready.

What happens after the 6 weeks?

This program is designed to help you feel confident transitioning into our regular reformer Pilates classes at Inflow.

By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll have built a stronger foundation through your core and full body, while feeling more comfortable and confident in your movement again.
